Victoria People Meeting People was registered as a Non-profit Society on February 28, 1983. It is a dance club where singles and couples are welcome to come and have a great evening. If you are looking to make new friends, like to dance and have fun, you will enjoy our ballroom setting for a minimal price. This is a non-threathing evening for those who haven't danced a lot or are just getting back into "circulation" after many years. Just come and have fun. Your dancing abilities are not considered. Only your ability to have fun is our prime consideration.

The location is the Monterey Senior Centre just off Oake Bay Avenue - 1442 Monterey Ave. Take Oak Bay Avenue to the Blethering Place Restaurant on the left and turn right. It is the first driveway on the right into the Monterey Seniors Centre. The entrance to the dance is the door on the right of the building (the first door you come to as you drive in the parking lot.) Lots of free parking in the lot and across the street.

We normally dance 7 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. twice a month.-- Please check our schedule.

It is also an excellent opportunity for those taking ballroom dance lessons to practice on our large floor. We have a variety of bands and music makers and the occasional dance theme for a dance to add to the fun and we also have novalty dances and door prizes for the lucky.
